hi yall! i’m cycling my first ever fish tank and it’s a little over 3 weeks old. i’ve done a ton of research and so i know some algae is a good thing and that it will clear itself up once the eco system is a little more established. it also looks like a i have multiple different types of algae. the plants are growing nicely and i have three snails that have definitely enjoyed cleaning the glass but it seems the algae is growing exponentially faster and i’m worried it will choke out my anubis and other plants. i have 0ppm ammonia but my nitrates and nitrites have both spiked.
