Which one is better for law school? I’ve heard jppl has less elective space which I don’t want but is it beneficial for law school in general? And does anyone know the gpa cut off for Judical law specialization?

I took a hard course and I got a C and b- in two courses in it which lowered my gpa to 3.5. I know I’m only in first year but I’ve heard they check each grade and want you to bring up why you got those grades. Is that true? and have people got into law school with a low gpa
