- for content im going into my third year, i have healthcare, nursing home volunteering experience, my gpa is 3.95/4

- im only realizing it might not be for me due to the very slim chances of getting in, 4 years of extra schooling with debt

- i've been looking at PT/OT, speech pathology masters but they all also require masters/higher education with a very small chance of getting in (what im scared about)

- it'd be nice to get someones outlook on this as im quite scared of changing career choices

Wanted to do the nuclear eng minor, but NUCLST 1N03 was reserved, looks like it opened up, but now there are no seats. Does anyone know if they're opening more seats, or if there's any other way to get in? I would love to start nuclear this year, and it looks like an amazing course to take.

Is anyone else finding his lectures completely useless? any tips on how to study this course with him if someone else has taken it before?

For anyone who took orgo in the spring, which section would you recommend?

I've heard the online section had online quizzes instead of iclicker, which honestly seems like a downside. I also heard Dr Chiba goes through more examples and explains things better in the in person lectures, but I'm not sure if that's actually true for the online ones.

The only thing holding me back is that the in person lec are 8:30 Like, what better way to start your day than orgo at 8:30? 😭

Can we call onto McMaster University to upgrade Mosaic! Please step up with digitisation and upgrade Mosaic. Also, please make an app where you can access all of the uni information needed and get updates and be able to access calenders and always know what is happening on campus. Integrate safety on it too and safeguarding, etc.

Mcmaster can call on its own students in computer science programs to help them develop this platform as part of their projects.

Use students to upgrade the university digitisation. Become Canada's top digitised university! I hope McMaster will hear my suggestion on this. What would be better than getting your own students develop something so great for existing students and use their needs and do research on how to perfect the platform, to meet these needs. It can be done by students FOR students!

Please do it. It's a step forward and will help market the school and place it much higher than other unis and will set it apart.

Recently learned I need to take a first-year math course for a program I'm interested in doing after undergrad. What are the easiest math courses best for my GPA? It can be any first-year math.

How important is it to take detailed notes on lectures compared to the linked videos under each roadmap? I’m assuming the lectures are the primary source of information and therefore should be prioritized, but I’m unsure how much attention to give the supplemental videos.

For those who have already completed the course: did you mainly focus on detailed notes from the lectures, or did you also take equally detailed notes from the linked videos? In practice, how necessary is it to take notes on both, and what level of detail actually proves useful for studying and reviewing later? Thank you so much!

i was literally gone for 2 weeks of my summer and found huge ants crawling over our kitchen. I live with the landlord (she just lives in a room like i do its not like i live with the whole family).
It’s literally impossible to cook and idk what to do

i feel like a lot of people, including myself, were able to bag specifically a PG single this late? Does this mean the must’ve saved a lot of pg rooms? i’m not complaining but i find it interesting given everyone used to say they didn’t save rooms.

And if you got your room change request, i’m interested to know what room you switched from and what you got switched into!!

i want to submit a room change request to see if i might be able to get into PG, as i saw a lot of people getting last minute res there. but, i dont want to change if it’s something that’s not great. do i have to make the change even if i dont want like the options presented?

I'm really interested in pursuing a minor in political science but don't want to tank my gpa for grad school applications. I was wondering if anyone familiar with level I-III polisci courses had thoughts on how feasible it was to consistently 12. For context, I 12ed abld 3ba3 and socpsy 1z03, both of which are relatively bird but I think my writing is decently strong. My main concern is how much your TA could tank your grade even if your work is good/whether its just not feasible to expect to score that high in a more humanities focused discipline

Hi, Im going into my first year as a mathematics & satistics gateway student at Mac and I wanted to know if there were any suggestions/recs for laptops or ipads I should have. Of course, my schedule is very math-heavy, so I would need devices that are able to help me work on my courses with max efficiency without having to carry around a notebook or extra things.
