hi guys. i’m a proud owner of a 2022 taos AWD S that has given me no problems (wish some of you got as lucky as me). My brother replaced my brake pads around 40k miles with ceramics and now at 70k, i’m getting all new rotors and pads at a local auto shop that is highly rated.
I don’t know why but I have so much anxiety! I refuse to go the dealership and pay $2000+ (i live in california), plus my sister had some prior bad experiences at the dealer with her vw. so now i’m going to an auto shop and my dad swears they’re going to mess up my car.
the auto shop specializes in german cars and they have a 4.9/5 star, whereas my local vw dealership has a 2.5/5 stars. i feel like every auto shop can do brakes just fine.
am i just overthinking this?

hi guys! i posted awhile ago talking about my lovely mama was diagnosed with stage 2a/b and was eligible for the whipple.

unfortunately, we have found that her cancer has spread into her liver and now she’s stage 4. she struggled tremendously with the first few rounds of chemo and it lead to an er visit where we found out it spread. i know this form of cancer is aggressive but dang.. they’re pushing for 10-12 rounds of chemo now and then we will check for any improvement. they didn’t mention hospice though, which does give me a glimmer of hope.

i don’t even know where to begin. if anyone has been through this, how did you guys cope? i had so much faith knowing that there was at least a way we could potentially cure her and now it feels like we just have to watch this disease slowly take her from us. im struggling most with not knowing how long she actually has. could be next week, next month, or next year. nobody knows. the unknown is so scary.

does anyone get an immense swarm of anxiety when they have to go to lecture when allergies are taking them out? i’m scared people are gonna think im sick like no fam my zyrtec just sucks. 💔💔
