▲ 1 r/Anxiety
an ode to today
it’s hard sharing my feelings
I get anxious that other people might feel like they have to help
I get anxious about how my tone was when I said it
I get anxious about what they were thinking about when they received it
I get anxious if the reply is a second later, or there was an unexpected hmph
My anxious state sends me into survival mode. I don’t think normal. It always sends me down routes that feel correct at the time, but never later.
I can never tell if I’m warm or cold, it’s always a weird shiver
and I suck at reaching out, even to my own parents. Where I avoid and push, than talk.
