Opinions! Low key adults only all-inclusive resorts in Cancun area
Hi all! My husband and I are looking to book our Mexico trip for next year in or around Cancun. This is my husband's first all-inclusive so I want something good. We are looking to book end of April/beginning of May 2027 and our budget is around $5k for 4 or 5 nights.
The things I'm looking for in a resort:
Most important- No chair games. I would love a resort that had pool chairs, cabanas, beach chairs that are available through the late morning. Adults only is a must as well.
Also but less important- decent food (prefer Mexican food), upgraded rooms (swim ups, private pool, walk out to beach/pool), serene surroundings. We want a calm, relaxing vacation so we don't care too much for late night shows or loud pools. We also don't plan on doing any excursions. I'd prefer something with a great beach and if we can avoid sargassum, that'd be great, but I know that can be tough.
Resorts I've been considering:
Valentin Imperial
Beloved
Iberostar Joia
Excellence Playa Mujeres
I'll take any suggestions, tips, reviews or advice! There is so much to choose from so I'm feeling lost because I want this to be the best trip ever! Thank you for your time!
