Sheepskin wool lined Razorbscks
Originally wanted them to be the russet but due to my own clumsiness with the email custom order (since the option for wool isnt on the website) i ended up putting the bronco brown because i was ordering 2 different ones and ended up forgetting to change this one, but honestly I love it! I live in MN and wanted some nice winter going out boots and garage boots, usually have my garage heated to 40°f. Ordered them January 20th, but they did inform me they wouldn't start the production until Feb 2nd. Then us customs decided they wanted them for a whole month. Relieved them on 5/12. A little late for the winter boots since we're only down to the 20s and 30s at night right now.
I replaced the insole with a all wool insole, thanks Canadian army surplus lol. The materials are fantastic. The only qc thing I've noticed is the right boot toebox is much more narrow than the other, but no toe puff so I'll just stretch it out and with breaking them in it'll workout. I feel that it is different since the one boot is more narrow from the 10 other pairs of stc last in the same size for background reference. If I were to do anything different I should have ordered a half size up to account for the thickness of the wool so their a bit tight currently(the right boot although not truly but feels like my ashm lasted boot due to the extra naroowness and the extra thickness of the lining. Maybe the wool will compress and wear in a bit with the leather and leave me with more room. The wool lining completely surrounds the food other than the heel counter and the lasting board. Absolutely wonderful boots and even though synthetic boots may be warmer, i love more natural sources of insulation. I wear all wool in the winter from undergarments to the clothing even outer garments
If you are wanting the sheepskin wool lining they ONLY do it on stockmans and razorbacks. I even offered to pay extra for a numzaan but no dice. The method to order is throught emailing their custom team and putting every option you want in the email.
