Composition of Ork stands

Referring to SM 2nd ed, I'm going through some of the stands I assembled as a kid, and have some questions on the proper composition of the nobz and warboss stands. I think I might have mistakenly used the warboss figure on the nobz stands.

Can anyone tell me on a nobz stand, what mix of nobz and regular Ork warriors should be on each stand? And for a warboss stand, is it just a single warboss figure and a standard bearer? Or should boyz be on there as well to make it up to 5 infantry on the base?

Did you write in the book??

So a thing that my family and I did when playing the books, and still do to this day now that I play with my kids, is use separate pieces of paper for our character sheets. We never wrote directly in the books, never!! Is it just us, or did other people do the same? Just felt like it was sullying the book!

Cost of 3D printed terrain

I don't own a 3D printer but am considering buying one for both minis and terrain printing. Trying to gather some opinions about the rough costs of printing 28mm scale terrain pieces in terms of the materials, and whether it's "worth it" vs scratch built. You can't beat the satisfaction that comes with scratch built, especially when made from found materials, but it is very time consuming, which I don't have a lot of in general. If I could print a small building say in a few hours instead of days, even weeks, using other methods then it'd be worth spending a bit of money on materials.

The cost of the printer itself would also need to be taken into account of course, although that's harder to quantify as it depends on use and lifetime of the average printer, maintenance etc. So I'm mostly focusing on the material costs and time savings for now. Minis are a whole other topic with different considerations as scratch building them isn't really a viable option!
