Free Combined Arms Map-Based Wargaming Campaign Rules!

These free Universal Campaign rules feature:

  • Each formation (platoon or company or battalion size) moves independently on the map. Multiple formations can form an army and fight in the same battle.
  • Unit losses are removed from your Order of Battle - So you don't want to throw away elite units capturing objectives!
  • Commanders generate order tokens, which allow formations to do things like move, pick battle plans when engaged, build buildings, call artillery fire missions etc.
  • Battle Plans: When 2 or more formations are engaged, each commander rolls off. The most wins picks the type of battle to play, as well as which map tiles are the battlefield (Played on tabletop) This means that reserves can come on from the table edge and the battles reflect what's happening on the map rather than standard scenarios written for matched play.
  • Simple resources and victory point system
  • Recon system
  • Supply and logistics mechanics: formations that are too far from your supply depots,or have been cut off via enemy formations suffer penalties to their shooting and movement during games. (optional rule!)
  • A whole bunch of narrative and faction archetype rules to inspire your narratives
  • Asymmetrical win conditions
  • And more.

The rules have a number of balancing and modular options, so if the rules will break your game or are too detailed for your preference: just don't use them! Simple.
Supports 2 or more players, multiple sides too. (Although multi sides should probably not use the supply system then)
No AI used! It's in Alpha, I'm just play-testing it now and getting player feedback.

Onslaught Miniatures

Hello everyone - this is Don from Onslaught, and I wanted to let everyone know the webstore has been relaunched and we're back in business. I had to put everything 6mm on the back-burner for a while - lots of important "life stuff" over the past few years. But we're back, and I'm in the process of getting all the last miniatures printable and back in stock, along with new units for the first time in a long while. Looking forward to serving the 6mm community again! I'd love to hear your questions and suggestions.

Con le regole attuali si usano ancora le referce cards o ci sono codex come nel 40k?

Sarò ingenuo ma a me piacevano tanto per qualche motivo, proprio come oggetto

The Space Marine book was Gold

As for the rule set as as a mine of lore, for many years my only reference about the Horus Heresy, the common kind of Imperial buildings and the functioning of a power armour. The Dreadnought in the picture is about 20 years younger ☺️

More or less the IF scheme, will probably toss a light Agrax wash over everything at the end.

Got the first tactical formation painted up plus transports. Along with one of the terminator formations.

Figure around a full (3rd) company with generous armored motor pool support, w/attached 1st Company Terminators.

The Imperial Fists so far for a summer campaign. Just need to get my devastators onto stands along with the vehicles. And probably add another tactical formation to round it out, or maybe some bikes or speeders instead, we'll see.

The benighted shrine world of Zenshubo will be purged of the Black Legion, and their tainted machinations will be stopped. For the Throne World, for the Emperor, for Dorn!

I come seeking the wisdom of the Ancients. Can 2nd Edition Tech Guard have commissars?

We're getting back into 2nd ed (well, 2.5 ed, Titan Legions) and we can't work out if Tech Guard can have commissars.

I say, they're basically mechanised imperial guard, with all of the command structure required, so I think commissars are needed to mitigate some of the chain of command risk.

My mate says no, whilst gleefully hunting down my poorly positioned command units.

Oh wise and grey bearded Ancients, who were there in the age of legends (1994), can you settle our dispute?

Thunderbolts attack wing ready to clear the skies

I finished these Thunderbolts last night; I wanted to get away from the classic green colors of the guards for a while. I'm thinking about whether to do the Marauders in the same color scheme, or change it. C&C welcome

It may not be gray but it still hurts: epic scale pile of shame

Maybe I'm too old and blind, but suddenly I got a mad desire to reduce my pile, starting with the first box ever, bought in 1989.

The Flesh that hunts - Plague zombie proxie

Wanted to share this pile of horrors I made today, as getting some actual 6mm zombies when not in U.K. or U.S. is remarkably annoying, even with 3d printing, so I instead printed pile of random alien plants, stuck em on bases, given it texture and painted them as horrible mutated garden of nurgle esque fleshy horrors to drop on the field.

I hope when they add the Emperor Class Titen, you can build both variants and different options for weapons and the super structure. I want to see lots of different options.
