Genuinely, I've lived in Australia for ten plus years and I have not been able to find regular cream outside of high end grocers and once when I went to Tasmania. Where is the cream you can whip and why is it not in the supermarkets? Who the fuck puts gelatin in cream, please help.

Edit: thanks team got it, it's thickened cream. I think I must have tried using pouring or cooking cream when I first moved here, failed and got confused. I had assumed the stabiliser in thickened cream would stopp it from whipping. Thank you to all who answered!

Genuinely, this is the only way I can think to describe my dogs behaviour. He's perfect 99% of the time but that 1%, it's so embarrassing.
