As the title suggests, I’m writing a fic and there are a couple of things I’m wondering.

The premise of the fic is, in short, that the coma dreams Buck has in s6 aren’t actually dreams. Firefighter Buck and Teacher (math, of course) Buck swap bodies and timelines. Between trying to navigate this new life and trying to get back to his own timeline, Buck meddles in the lives of the people he knows in his own timeline.

So, my questions:

We know that coma Eddie loses Christopher and is deemed unfit to be a firefighter as a result of not having Buck there to introduce him to Carla. But where does his life go after that? I’m personally thinking he gets big into fighting, but I’m open to other suggestions.
- Follow-up on this, how might his personality change? There's a brief mention of him being an angry guy, but that's really all I have to work with.
Is there any chance of Buck actually convincing Maddie to consider leaving Doug? I know in the coma timeline they have a daughter, and that would absolutely complicate things. I’m considering having it be that Buck plants the idea (or, maybe more accurately, reinforces) in Maddie’s mind without it being something that actually develops much further in the span of the fic (since it’s a struggle that would likely be much harder and longer than it is in canon, especially with their daughter being in the mix)
Who, if anyone, is most likely to realize that Buck isn’t their Buck? I’m thinking most people would realize something is off, but possibly chalk it up to a brain injury or something as a result of being struck by lighting (or falling off a ladder in Teacher Buck’s case) (Though this is something I would do more research on if I decide to incorporate that) In Firefighter Buck’s case, I’m actually considering Daniel, though I know a lot of his interactions happen with Hen and Chim.
Is there anything else people would like to see happen?
This will be my first 911 fic, so I’m concerned about accidentally writing characters OOC. I know there’s some wiggle room with it being an alternate timeline, but I’d still like the behaviours and decisions of everyone to be believable. Any tips for how/where to study the characters so I can get a more solid grasp on their characterization?
