Hello! A little backstory. In 2023 I was told I needed a root canal, I ended up pregnant and didn’t get it done. In 2025 I finally built the courage to go after I saw an abscess under that tooth. It was a new dentist and they “performed a root canal” well that was about 6 months ago. A couple weeks ago I started getting extremely panicked and hyper aware of my teeth thinking they are all lose so I scheduled an appt with another new dentist (insurance issues) well they did x rays and there is absolutely zero indication that I have ever had a root canal and the infection has completely taken over my gums. I’m only 22 and now I have to get the tooth removed. I’m honestly so depressed over this and can’t stop analyzing all of my teeth thinking they are coming out.
