Hey everyone, I’ve just filled out the application form for the IIT Madras BS program for the current May 2026 intake, and my Qualifier Phase officially kicks off on June 12. I just finished my Class 12th boards (results came out on May 13th)

I wouldn’t say I’m completely terrified, but I am definitely feeling pretty nervous about what to expect. Going from school boards straight into an IIT-designed curriculum feels a bit intimidating.

To the seniors or anyone who has recently cleared the qualifier round, I would love some honest advice and guidance on a few things:

1. What is the actual difficulty level? How steep is the jump from standard Class 12 Mathematics and Computer Science to the Qualifier modules (especially Computational Thinking and Stats)?
2. What does the study material look like? Is relying purely on the weekly portal videos and transcripts enough to score well, or do I need to look at external books/channels?
3. Time Management: Since we get 4 weeks of content before the July 19 exam, how many hours a day should a fresh school graduate realistically dedicate to stay on top of the assignments?
4. Resources: Are there any specific YouTube channels, past assignment archives, or notes that saved you during these 4 weeks?

I really want to clear this on my first attempt and build a solid foundation. Any tips, hidden traps to avoid, or resource links would be incredibly helpful!

Who does not know Nia Sharma? Even if someone doesn’t know her by name, they definitely know her from Naagin. She was one of the biggest and most popular TV actresses of her time, and even today she’s still relevant through reels, paparazzi coverage, interviews, and social media.

And Niharika, respectfully, I personally saw you for the first time on MTV Splitsvilla. I’m not even kidding. I didn’t even know you had one million followers that somehow turned into two million. And honestly, I still don’t understand why people are blindly supporting someone accused of being involved in cheating and hurting other people.

But leaving all that aside, the way she spoke to the host was completely disrespectful. Even if you supposedly “don’t know” the host, you are still a contestant on her show. You should have basic respect and civic sense while speaking to her.

Nia is not another contestant standing there to tolerate unnecessary attitude or disrespect. She’s the host of the show.

And whatever the audience thinks about Nia personally does not even matter here. At the end of the day, people can still tell who is making sense and who is just speaking nonsense for attention. And honestly, Niharika was talking complete bullshit while standing there.

So apparently before voting, Tayne Sandy and Gullu Kaira were top 2 as Yogesh and sorab didn't do well in the finale task

But after voting Yogesh and gullu are top 2 🤡🤡

Makers did this just because of creating yogesh vs gullu situation 🙏🙏 it is so unfair to Tayne and sandy as they both are performers

Why does voting have to come in a task based show????

I do not watch reality tv shows, and have never watched big boss and all, this is my first time watching splitsvilla and this will be the last too, didn't know this is how this show works 🙏🙏

For the first time seeing this show, I cired!! Which is not normal at all as i am not such a emotional person

But seeing Diksha and Himanshu today I cried and everytime Sadaf's face was coming on screen I felt like...........my god waht can I even say!

Also I don't even like himashu diksha! I do not! But still i felt so bad nd Sadaf standing there for whom Himashu took stand every funkin time!!

It was all so fustrating

Then this "baddie shree" narrative started calling her "bully" and all when she just retaliated to Suzzaine and THEY knew that they become friends on the show itself then also 🤓🤓

Ik Sandy has some of her things but there are only 2-3 things while the other contestants, dang her own connection has done such big questionable things

They even screenshotted her worst faces and out it just to pull her down, even the fully faltu page 😭🙏

Brother, I don’t even know if I’m cooked or not at this point 😭 but the syllabus is SO vague that I end up procrastinating every single day. Like, I genuinely don’t know what to study and what to skip.

And on top of that, I’ve applied for BSc in Data Science and AI, and this is literally the first time they’re conducting this exam, so there are no previous year papers or anything to refer to 🍃

Can someone please tell me what you all are studying and where you’re studying from? Are you getting any mock tests or practice material?

The only thing I’ve figured out is that it’ll probably be very similar to BSc IT. So if anyone here is preparing for BSc IT, please help me out 😭🥀
