Bro i genuinely cannot make this up

So a few days ago I was talking to this guy on Reddit and he told me he had some sources and apparently he could get me admission into some private uni because I was looking for law colleges 😭

He had compartment in 2 subjects too maths and chemistry and he had 6 subjects overall. At that time he told me he wanted to do BTech and apparently his sources were strong enough that some teacher would get him through maths 💀

We stopped talking after that and then talked again on the day the results came out. He told me he passed and unfortunately I failed my compartment again 😭

Fast forward to TODAY and this man texts me saying he got admission in LLOYD for LAW and is telling me how cool the campus is and everything 😭😭

THE FUNNIEST PART IS HE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW ABOUT LLOYD BEFORE ME 😭 I was literally the one who told him earlier that Lloyd would work for me and that I was considering it

Like bro really took my college suggestion and came back with the admission before me 😭

Life is actually trolling me atp

My academic lore is getting out of hand

I gave my Class 12 exams through NIOS On Demand in August and my result is expected in September. I want to take admission in Amity and one of the counselors told me that admissions are open till 30th October. I am planning to take admission only after my result because after what happened with CBSE I honestly do not trust any board 😭 And if something goes wrong with NIOS then I would be stuck. They are also not giving me provisional admission and even if they do there is no refund which makes me even more unsure.

What do you guys think? My result should come by the end of September so do you think admissions will still be open till then? Has anyone here taken admission around the end of September or knows anything about Amity admissions? Please let me know 😭

URGENT HELP! 17(f) SHOULD I SKIP SCHOOL TOMORROW or Go for retest?

RANT here:-

(12th grader BTW)

I have my Biology MT tomorrow, but I’ve been sick for the past 2 days, so I basically have 0 preparation or revision for the chapters.

The exam is scheduled for the second half of the school day, and unfortunately, my school requires us to attend the full school day if we’re coming in. So I can’t just come for the exam and leave afterward.

I also have another exam the day after tomorrow, and I really don’t want to neglect that preparation either. If I try to cram everything for Biology tonight while I’m still sick, I’m worried I’ll end up messing up both exams.

I do have the option of taking a retest for Biology, so I’m wondering if that would be the smarter choice. I could use the extra time to recover and prepare properly instead of forcing myself to sit through a full school day and an exam when I’m already unwell.

What would you guys do in this situation? Should I give the Biology MT tomorrow anyway, or take the retest and focus on recovering + preparing for the next exam? .... 💔🥀

Got 2 compartments — should I reappear in Feb 2027 or all 5 subjects? Need advice 17M

Hey everyone, I got 2 compartment subjects in Class 12, and I’m thinking of giving the exams again in February 2027.

Honestly, I’m pretty devastated right now and I don’t really know where to start. I was planning to take a drop year, but definitely not like this.

I want to use this year properly and prepare seriously. Next year, I also want to give IMUCET and try for sponsorship for the Merchant Navy, so getting my Class 12 results sorted is really important for me.

I’m also confused about whether I should only give the 2 compartment exams or reappear for all 5 subjects. I feel like reappearing for all 5 might be the better option, but I’m not sure if that’s actually a smart decision.

Can you guys please guide me on this?

Should I join offline coaching/classes, or study online?

If online, which teachers/resources would you recommend for Physics and Maths?

Should I make notes from scratch again, or use my old notes?

Should I focus only on my 2 compartments or reappear for all 5 subjects?

How should I structure my preparation from now until February?

Has anyone here been in a similar situation and successfully cleared their compartments?

I know I messed up, but I don’t want to waste this year feeling sorry for myself. I genuinely want to get back on track.

Any practical advice would really help. Thanks.

Stuck in a very chaotic situation seniors please help me.

I’m stuck at a major crossroad and could really use some grounded perspectives from seniors, developers, or anyone who has dealt with compartment/board marksheet dilemmas.

My Background & Current Situation:
Appeared for CBSE Class 12 this year (PCM with 6 subjects).

In the main results, I got an RT in two subjects: Math and Chemistry.

Because I had 6 subjects, CBSE allowed a compartment rather than an Essential Repeat. I sat for the Math compartment, cleared it, and my final status is officially PASS.

My best-5 aggregate comes out to 67%, but Chemistry still shows an RT on record.

The Conflict:
Initially, I was aiming for B.Tech (where a full PCM pass is mandatory), but I’ve decided to pivot to BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) instead.

I already have a confirmed admission option at a private college for BCA starting this session based on my passing marksheet. However, my family has already registered me to repeat Class 12 next year as a private/regular candidate.
Their reasoning is that having an RT on paper looks messy and will hurt my profile, so spending an entire year to get a fresh, 80%+ single-sitting marksheet is worth the gap.

The Two Paths I’m Looking At:
Option A: Take BCA admission right now (Save 1 year)
Pros: Jump straight into programming, CS fundamentals, and software development without wasting 12 months.

Worry: Will the RT in Chemistry or the compartment tag on my 12th marksheet come back to bite me during on-campus BCA/MCA placements, off-campus tech hiring, or background verification (BGV)?

Option B: Drop a full year to re-give Class 12 boards
Pros: A clean marksheet, higher percentage, and no awkward questions about 12th marks.
Worry: Spending an entire year re-studying board-level Physics and Chemistry—subjects completely irrelevant to my software career—feels like a massive drain of time and momentum.

What I want to ask the community:

  1. Industry/Placement reality: Do IT recruiters, MNCs (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc.), or product startups care if you had an RT in an additional 6th subject (Chemistry) as long as your official status is "PASS" and your overall aggregate is >60%?

  2. Higher Studies: Does this create hurdles later if I plan to appear for NIMCET / top MCA entrance exams?

  3. Is the gap year worth it? In the tech industry, does an extra year spent building real skills/projects heavily outweigh a cosmetic fix on a high school marksheet?
Any candid advice on what actually matters in the long run would be immensely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

How you'll find your ans sheet on digilocker

You wont see chances in your original marksheet

You'll get a new one

You search it up on digilocker itself

Or just go to the cbse official website waha pe go on results section then apna roll no and all bharne ke baad jab result khulega toh scroll down then you'll see digilocker ka option bas waha pe jao apna digilocker pin vagera bharo udhar and then save your result on digilocker
