Oil pickup on horizontal converted engine
Working on converting this vertical output V-twin ride-on mower engine to horizontal output. Rotating the engine mean all oil will pool on the side of the crankcase opposite the oil pickup. Anyone know if I could run a “straw” from the oil pickup (red) to where the oil will be pooling (yellow). Will the oil pump create enough suction to pull oil up the straw?
