For context: I know nothing about art nor paints D:
My girlfriend's birthday is coming up and she's a very avid artist, and has spoken about how she wants to get into oil painting but has always found the price semi-restrictive, and that she wasn't sure what resources to buy necessarily.
I've done some vague researching and found that the Artists' line for Winsor and Newton has good reviews. I was specifically looking at the 'Artists' Oil Studio Case 18pc' which seems to have brushes and solvents(? not really sure what they're used for). I also saw that the Golden Williamsburg oil paint sets of 8 also had quite good reviews, but doesn't come with the brushes, and would have to buy separately.

Naturally, I plan on buying her an easel and canvases as well, but wasn't too sure as to which ones were good, or whether there was massive variation between different brands/pricepoints.

In terms of budget, I'd ideally like to spend < £150 but if it's slightly over then I've got no problem.

Thank you!!!
