Realizing I platinumed the first game back on PS4 and now have to run thru the remaster to collect that platinum. Also feel challenged to run thru NG+ to get all the additional trophies for 2. Also, also, gotta run thru MM and grab that one as well.
Lots of Spidering in my future.
I normally don’t give a shit about trophies, but Spider-Man is different. 🤷‍♂️

Forgive me, as I’m not the most knowledgeable of Spidey fans of all the extended lore and characters. Who is this potato lady tho????
Why they have her rendered on SpiderMan-64 tech? Is this a bug or intentional? (Her polygonal aesthetic)

I found this to be a neat little late/end-game surprise.
I beat the main story around the time the game launched and just got back into the *swing* (🥴) of things to grab the platinum trophy. I was reminded again that Insomniac are just phenomenal when it comes to attention to detail, world building and deep cuts.

(The reason Genke’s voice cuts out at the end of the clip is because I paused mid sentence to cap the clip, and unpaused mid sentence when I realized he was yapping still / tried cutting it and syncing it back in CapCut lol. )

The amount of grinding I had to do to unlock Brock 01 is a point of shame for me. But goddammit I unlocked his ass and immediately changed him out of his red trunks to his tried and true black trunks. Need to redo the graphic to have the little spine thing instead of his beast logo, on his ass, but it’s working for now.

The ragdoll/weapon bumps are A1 this year. For all the negative things I have to say about 2K this year, they almost wholly redeemed themselves with the levels of brutality one can inflict under the right circumstances, all without mods (PS5 Pro footy-edited in CapCut to sync sound with Highlight reel clips)

For the PC crowd this year, I’m curious about mods. Specifically with the included ragdoll and weapon physics.

I know we’ll probably never get HCTP level of weapon interaction again, so long as 2K has their mitts on the IP, and TKO / WWE still pretending that chair shots don’t exist anymore (unless across the back 😮‍💨) but are there mods out there that take the weapon matches to an even more brutal level? Better blood mods/ weapon deformation or advanced shit like adding chair DDT’s and ladder cross bodies? I’d imagine better blood mods probably exist but would also assume anything animation oriented is probably too hard to implement. Lemme know in the comments.
