On the store page, one of the main advertisements is that there are 400+ wrestlers in the game. Im thinking about buying it, but do you really get that many wrestlers in the base game or are they talking about paying for extra DLC?

Loving the game so far! I just can’t get past this double Delores Hex fight LOL I think I have spent like 6 hrs on it so far. I’m used to harder games too, I have beaten games like bloodborne and elden ring and this fight seems almost as hard as one of those tougher boss fights 🤣 I just need to get gud.

While it’s easy to point out the various flaws in the current games, and while it’s easy to vent frustrations, I’ve been thinking about how the intended design of these games could actually perform well, and I’m not claiming that this is the only solution, just one I believe could be developed by 2K.

The main problem I’ve felt playing the games, especially with the current generation starting with 2K22, is that everything feels incomplete. Showcase Mode has lacked depth for many years, and Universe Mode has persistent bugs as reported here often. The Island feels like a separate game, and MyFaction has a similar feeling of belonging on its own. MyRise tends to be the same story told every year, and it’s likely because there’s so many modes to manage, which explains the persistent technical issues and limitations.

The Battle Pass is a symptom of a larger issue, not the cause. I feel like if MyFaction was a standalone mobile game developed for 2K, and if The Island was a free-to-play mobile, console and PC game, then you’d have those environments where a battle pass system is actually supported through seasons and regular updates. This would free up the resources for modes like MyRise, MyGM and Universe Modes to bolster, refine, and improve those modes beyond what we have now. If there’s integration to WWE 2K games, wherein you could still unlock alternate attires/personas and other cosmetics across all games.

If there’s integration, for an example if you play MyFaction and unlock a persona card, it could unlock Creation Suite parts for The Island, and an alternate attire for the current WWE 2K game. If you own WWE 2Kxx, you’ll unlock cards for use in MyFaction and CAS parts for The Island. If you unlock parts in The Island, that could translate to CAS parts for the mainline 2K game and additional cards for MyFaction. You’re designing independent games with interdependent content that creates actual incentives to try each game, and possibly to buy content in one or all three.

I know it’s a stretch, but I’ve just been thinking about ways this could actually work as a constructive creative outlet. Imagine if MyFaction was a Hearthstone style game, and if The Island was an online multiplayer survival game like Fortnite but focused on creating your own character and building your training camp? This would be better than mashing it all into one game on an annual release cycle, in my opinion.

I’m gonna keep this as brief and simple as I can, I’ve been apart of quite of few leagues they seem to turn into either players fighting with eachother over nothing or players fighting with server management.

I’m not dealing with all the drama and bs not should anyone else, at the end of the day it’s a wrestling game for everyone to enjoy!

With that being said I have started up a new server for anyone who’d like to join. To keep it brief once you join you’ll pick what superstars you’d like to use from any brand, I’ll post a poll each week who would like to be booked for league matches and that’s it. This server is meant to be somewhere you can compete in the league for titles and be apart of whatever story you all create. It’s also a place for you to just meet or message people if you wanna run quick games you do not have to participate in the league itself.

i want to be able to edit matches in my gm, aka now that 2k graced us with turn off entrance in my gm after 4 years, i want a option to edit the matches/and weapons. why? easy, cuz maybe i want a 6wayhell in a cell eliminaton, maybe i want ladders in my extrem rules, considering theres no ladder in anymatches beside ladder and tlc duh. i mean i can edit matches in universe mode. so its not like its imposible to do, just lazy, that or let me import custom matches/replace matches, either one, works just as fine. or in 2k fashion, put this option in the battle pass XD

The micro transactions aren’t going away and that’s very clear. This “seasons” plague that has infiltrated every game is a genuine cancer that nobody enjoys. I don’t want to visit the island EVER. I hate my faction. So, how about 2k devs scrap all three and put the time into giving us an “Eras” mode. Lock everyone not on the current active roster behind your stupid paywall. Release eras monthly. Kinda like a showcase but instead of one character you’re completing or rewriting, crucial/ memorable moments through history while also unlocking characters as you go. All they would really need to do is add the footage (that’s rotting on Netflix as we speak) in game. I’m not saying we should have to pay for bring the pain Brock but I’d rather grind or pay the extra fee to for sure get that Brock lesnar, Batista with hair, or an ACCURATE thuganomics cena.

Not going to lie the idea feels like it’s losing steam as I type so if someone has a better idea of how to do this please add onto or change it instead of calling me stupid lol. But I’d like to run MNM tag fueds from smackdown, spirit squad moments, legend killer Orton (with the OG intro and sparks) we’ve had bits and pieces throughout previous games but just make it an ongoing mode with alternative futures that we can keep unlocking attires, arenas, and smaller superstars that helped make wwe what it was at that time. Finlay, MVP, Matt hardy era smack down you know? And of course give the option to pay to get them directly for universe but the eras mode should serve as the focal point. Basically clean up these random one off personas and give them a reason to be in the game and us motivation to actually go after them.
Winning the match should not unlock them either, I don’t want to do everything they did in the match with interrupting real footage. Steal Sparking zeros half ass idea and make it a challenge…you want Chris masters?? Avoid the master lock the entire match. You want world champion Kurt angle? Hard ass iron man match. We don’t need 17 cm punks 11 cenas, 8 triple hs. Unlock their phases as you go as attires. Feel me? Or nah?

Imagine if we had a 30 slots per brand, and it is all custom wrestlers of players. If Madden can do 32 WWE can do 30. And that's in addition to the real wrestlers so you can have people fighting CPU and players. It's 100% possible.It would almost make it like a live service because you would have matches like the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank where a player could leapfrog to a title shot.
