In a couple days, my parents decided to put down our beloved good boy Duke at home. Since I live in a different state, I can't see him. He is diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy. It is common in German Shepherds and Duke is 10 years old. He is the family dog that stepped up after our family dog of almost 17 years passed away. He will always and forever will be a good boy. I will miss him!
P.S. Duke, when you cross the trail, make sure you treat yourself to rest and the deer legs that you would find in the woods.
