Regret leaving last housekeeping job

I regret leaving my last housekeeping job honestly. I started there in 2024 as a room attendant and started to HSK Team Leader shifts at the start of this year. I actually felt valued there and liked having more responsibility, I got along so well with everyone there too.
I left for a new job thinking it would be better, but now I’m just a casual room attendant again and I feel like I’ve taken a massive step backwards career-wise and financially. It also seems there isn’t any room to move up quickly at this new hotel either. Has anyone else quit a job and instantly regretted it?
