Fire my Attorney?

My attorney has gotten me to the maximum for my disabilities and effective dates. I'm totally satisfied with them through the process.

Do I need to release or fire them? Or do attorneys just stop working a file once it reaches its maximum?

Not looking to replace them, we're just at the end of our business.

How much extra after bill is enough?

Considering retiring next year. After bills we're looking at roughly $900 to $1,000 "extra" cash each month.

VA, SS, 401k distribution and pensions are the income streams.

Bill include setting aside funds each month for car, home and medical maintenance.

Wife doesn't work anymore so she could take very easy SS but based on her work history it won't be much.

How much "extra" at the end of the month should I target before retiring?

When did the brotherhood / sisterhood end?

I ask this question, not expecting an answer, but as a coping mechanism.

I assume most, if not all, people in this sub are prior or active military.

Yet, I see numerous responses that, in my opinion, should never move from the brain to the keyboard.

When did we stop supporting each other? Granted, there are some posts (potentially this one) that deserve the shake of a head and some internal rebuttal.

But we should never belittle our fellow members. Most of us left basic training a long time ago and don't deserve disrespect.

My father, (USAF Ret), taught me years ago that treating others respectfully is key to our own personal success.

With well wishes to all as we each travel our futures, but never forget our past.

VA claims “Super‑Persona”

I’ve been messing around with AI tools lately and ended up building a VA claims “Super‑Persona” that actually turned out pretty useful. It’s basically a guided workflow that helps you organize your claim, figure out what evidence you’re missing, prep for C&P exams, and understand how the VA looks at different claim types.

It doesn’t give legal advice and it doesn’t make up facts. It just forces you to give the info the VA needs (conditions, claim type, evidence, service history, etc.) and then walks you through the right workflow.

It works on any AI platform like Copilot (which I wrote it on), Claude, ChatGPT, LM Studio, whatever. I would appreciate if anyone tries it, to give me feedback. I've only used it on one claim and it appeared to give good information.

Copy everything in the google doc, and paste it into your AI. Then Enter the command:
"Activate VA Super‑Persona" (without the double quotes).

Please note: The file is approx. 1372 lines long. Yes, I did get a tad carried away. :)

Sync required?

Potential user here. I'm looking for something I can use with my Win11, Android and iPad when the songwriting mood hits. I save all my lyrics to Google Drive. Would I need the sync feature for this?

Thanks in advance.
