Tainted Love: Lake Worth Legends
I just published my first book after a year of working on it. I'm still pretty excited to see it live.
It's the first book in a planned series called Tainted Love (I've started the second book, but it'll be a while before it's ready).
The story follows Claire, who's been feeling depressed and stuck, until a camping trip with friends at Lake Worth turns into something a lot stranger than she expected. After a chance encounter with local legend Goatman, curiousity turns into something deeper--and a lot more complicated than it should be.
It's a slow-burn, human FMC / non-human MMC story with a lot of yearning and "this probably shouldn't work, but we're doing it anyway" energy. Definitely more on the angsty side than fluffy.
