All

My pool coping has cracked. What are the options that I have to fill the cracks and apply some sort of coating to all of the coping (even uncracked), to make them look good?

Looking to install 6-8 8 MP POE cameras.

  1. Don’t want any that phone home to China

  2. Don’t want any subscriptions

  3. I want to monitor them remotely as I travel sometimes.

Im somewhat hazy on the setup reqts to be able to monitor them remotely. At my prior company we had about 35 8MP POE cameras on our network that stored video in an NVR but the client/server software was Chinese. I would like to avoid that.

Thanks in advance.

I installed a bathroom fan but was uncomfortable penetrating the roof so I told a roofing company what I wanted.

I explained that I had flexible ducting and wanted to attach the (female) flexible ducting to a (male) flange on a through the roof fitting, using sheet metal screws and/or a hose style clamp..

They didn’t do that (see pics). When I asked them about it, they said this was the way it was done, and they were pissed off that I was asking. The flexible ducting was held up to the inside roof level with a nail, near the through the roof fitting.

Is this really the correct way to do this, or should they have done it the way I wanted?
