Got my Holly Carden puzzle delivery yesterday!! I couldn’t wait to get started on these & put a puzzle I was working on aside to get started on the Bran Castle. I will post my progress at a later date but my first impressions are that these are high quality puzzles & her artwork, attention to detail & research done on the topics is phenomenal. Her process for creating these puzzles is shown on her website - holly carden.com and worth checking out. Definitely not a simple process. Another happy surprise is ZERO puzzle dust!! Not one speck! I didn’t think that was possible.

Included with these puzzles are high quality prints of the puzzle with a ‘seek & find’ sheet and a detailed explanation for all the vignettes. I am so impressed with these puzzles.

She is based in the US & shipping was pricey to Canada (everything is) but so worth that extra cost imo.

Her puzzles are only available on her website or her Etsy store - DrawnByHolly.

She has an instagram account - holly_the_red where you can also see her works & process. She is also working on a new puzzle and I will definitely be ordering it when it becomes available along with her Fable House puzzle.

I highly recommend getting these puzzles & supporting this amazing artist!!

I can’t recommend this puzzle enough, especially for any beginners to puzzling. Not only do I think it’s gorgeous it was an absolute breeze to do. Cranked it out in an afternoon and that was with taking lots of breaks for dogs, etc. I’ve never done a 500 piece this fast & yet utterly enjoyed it. I will definitely be keeping this one & doing it again down the road. I also have the Postcard from New York & Postcard from London & can’t wait to do them. Who knows what this afternoon will bring 🤷‍♀️🧩 I’ve never done any speed puzzling but might try it with one of the others & see what happens. I’d love to see what time one of you speed puzzlers could do this one. So much fun to do. Highly recommend. Thank you Ravensburger!

Does anyone else do more than one puzzle at once? Usually when I do up to 1,000 piece puzzles I just do the one but since I’ve been getting into bigger puzzles I like to have a break. As Ravensburger ‘The Six Portals’ is 7,000 I really needed a break 🤣 Not really sure why I need a break as it’s all puzzling 🤷‍♀️ Pulled out a 500 piece Ravensburger Postcard from Paris for that break. P.S. Thank you hubby for the large puzzling surface 🧩👍
