I Miss Caffeine Free Diet Dr Pepper

Anyone else frustrated that we can't get a caffeine free diet Dr Pepper/Mr Pibb/similar soda nationally distributed and made widely available in grocery stores and Walmarts?

It used to be a thing you could find in some regions. I don't see it at all anymore. Maybe somewhere is still doing it. It definitely isn't most places, though, and it should be.

At the very least, couldn't some sort of generic or niche soda do it? I'd drink caffeine free diet Dr Thunder- if that were a thing. Seems like a way for an underdog to get traction (ie "You may prefer Dr Pepper in general, but they don't cater to your caffeine free needs, switch to caffeine free diet Mr Pibb")

Plenty of people drink these type of beverages for the taste and can't drink or don't want to drink caffeine. There are plenty of caffeine free colas and have been for most of lifetime, if not beyond.

It just seems like an odd market gap that no one is doing caffeine free diet Dr Pepper or similar.

My wonderful girlfriend bought me a hat with this logo on it. Despite being a lifelong Orioles fan, I'm not familiar with the design- the green hat within a hat, specifically, and the bird looks a little different.

Is this a retro hat? Alternate? Bootleg?

Computers and phones tend to need to be plugged in or charged frequently. Even most smart watches fit that bill.

Let's say someone was regularly doing something where they had no access to any ability to recharge devices like that for weeks at a time. I don't know, backpacking. Whatever.

Is there something lightweight that would give them some semblance of a digital life? Maybe features like the date, the time, ability to play some MP3s, read an ebook, check some email and maybe text when Internet is available, etc..

I guess I'm basically thinking of a smartphone, but they can't hold charge long enough, even with battery packs.

Best I can think of other than that is like an old fashioned digital watch, which is obviously pretty limited.

Maybe a Kindle ereader to an extent.

Neither is perfect.

Anyone have thoughts?
