Assalamu Alaikum everyone!

There is something in you that was placed there before you were born, before your parents named you, and before anyone taught you anything about Allah. It's why people who have never opened a religious book in their life still turn to something greater than themselves in moments of crisis, and it's why a person raised with no faith can hear the Qur'an for the first time and feel like they are connected to it.

What is this called in Islam?

A) Taqwa
B) Iman
C) Fitrah
D) Tawheed

Drop your answer below and if you want, share a moment where you felt this concept in your life.

Assalam Alaikum everyone,

I am Maryam. I want to share something I built, but before I do, I want to share why. My whole life I've always been Muslim. I prayed, fasted, said Alhamdulillah before I understood what it meant. I heard words like Tawakkul, Ihsan, Istiqamah every single week in khutbahs, conversations, from my family, and I nodded along as if I understood them. But I did not understand them. At 19 I moved abroad alone for the first time to study. Far from my family and everything familiar, I had a realisation that should have come much earlier: I had been practicing a religion I had never learned. I knew the rituals and the words, but I did not know what they meant or the foundations. I knew I was Muslim, but I did not know why; not in a way I could explain to myself or anyone else. So I started learning, but I did not know where to start. I opened YouTube and got lost. I found books that were too advanced. I found apps that gave me reminders and hadith but no structure. I kept starting and stopping and starting again. Ten years later I am still learning. But somewhere along the way I overcame the overwhelming part. And I realised that the thing I had been missing was not more content. It was a clear path. So at 29 I built one.

Faith Roadmap is a structured, step-by-step Islamic learning app for beginners and Muslims reconnecting with their deen. Not another collection of reminders and quotes. A path through the foundations of Islam, in the right order, at your own pace.

Here is what it gives you:

  1. You will know exactly what to do next. 8 modules covering the foundations of Islam in the right sequence: Aqeedah, Prayer, Qur'an, Seerah, Character, Daily Living, and more. Each module has clear daily tasks, so you are never left wondering where to go.

  2. You will finally understand the words you have been hearing your whole life or will hear from now if you have recently reverted to Islam. 52 Islamic terms explained simply and what they look like in real life and why they matter.

  3. You will learn to call on Allah by His Names. 99 Names of Allah, each one explained with its root meaning, what it reveals about Allah's nature, and how to call on it in your du'a.

  4. You will build consistency that lasts. Reflection prompts after every section that connects what you learn to your life.

  5. You can start completely free. Module 1 is yours with no payment. Just sign up and begin.

Faith Roadmap is built by someone who knows exactly what it feels like wanting to learn your deen properly and have no idea where to start. If that is where you are right now — or if you know someone who is — I would love for you to try it: myfaithroadmap.com

JazakAllah khayran for reading this far. And if you have any questions about Faith Roadmap or how it works, I am happy to answer them in the comments.
