Hi everyone, I really need some advice because I’m extremely stressed.
I got into a sextortion situation on Discord/Instagram with someone who has a video of my meat (my face is kinda visible but in another video). He started threatening to send it to people from my Instagram.
He showed me screenshots of my “suggestions” and even sent messages to a couple of people, then unsent them. Every time, he kept saying “last chance” and gave me short deadlines (30 minutes, then 1 hour, then 3 hours). He also kept lowering the amount of money.
I was scared at first and tried to talk to him, but I didn’t send any money.
Now the important part:
The 3-hour deadline passed, and it’s been about 13 hours since then, and he hasn’t contacted me again at all. He hasn’t sent any new threats, no new screenshots, nothing.
Also, none of the people he showed me have contacted me, and I’m pretty sure nothing has been sent to them.
My question is:
Does this usually mean he gave up and moved on?
Or is there still a chance he might send the video later even without contacting me again?
I’m really trying not to panic, but I just want to understand what typically happens in situations like this.
