I (M) have been talking to a girl (F) from my office. In person, we have great chemistry — lots of teasing, inside jokes, even joking about being “husband and wife.” She’s comfortable around me, we’ve had some close moments, and she agreed to go out with me (said “yes pakka”).
But her texting is inconsistent. She replies late, rarely initiates, and sometimes I feel like I’m putting in more effort. She also talks about another guy she’s texting.
In groups, she doesn’t always give me attention, but when we’re alone, she’s very engaged. There was also a moment where I felt ignored while she was active elsewhere.
I’ve started catching feelings and I’m overthinking a lot. I’m also worried she might just be enjoying the attention I give her rather than actually liking me. Part of me wants to confess just to get clarity, but I’m worried it might be too early and ruin things (we also work together).
Should I tell her how I feel or just take it slow?
