The only reason this match went to 10 rr at final three overs is because of Karthik's 20(20). Big thanks to Avesh khan for taking his wicket. Atleast try to hit something. Those who watched the match knows that he didn't even try to hit a boundary till 13th ball he faced. He doesn't need to anchor when Ruturaj is at the other end. What is he even trying to do? He scored two fifties, but even a 20 lakh player who had average performance in vijay hazare trophy can hit 54(40) when chasing 160 in wankhade.
Its not like we don't have anyone play at number 4, Where is Sarfu?!?!?. And stop pushing Prashant veer to be a finisher and play him at 5. Make brevis comes at 6 and Dube at 7.and Overton at 8 will do things just fine. Train karthik better in the off-season, this is not the time for it.
