Just received an offer from micro1 for an AI Training Expert role at $80/hour, and I wanted to check with others here if this is legit / worth pursuing.
They said my AI interview and background were reviewed, and they want me to sign a contract within 12 hours to start onboarding immediately. The role involves evaluating and training next-generation AI models.
Before signing, I’d love to hear from anyone who has worked with micro1 or accepted a similar role.
A few questions I have:
- What is the typical duration of these contracts?
- How is performance evaluated in these AI training roles?
- Is compensation based on hours logged, or is it task/deliverable based?
- Is the position fully remote, and where is it officially based?
- Do they usually disclose the end client/company later?
- How many hours per week should I realistically expect?
- Are payments reliable and on time?
- Any red flags I should know before signing?
