Hi guys

I tried to post this on the marriage subreddit but for some reason, it kept getting removed so this is why I’m asking here.

So basically, I’m a 20 years old girl from an Arab country (Maghreb) and my parents have been talking about marriage to me because we marry quite young here as a woman. I’m okay to get married and I’m actually looking for it.
The problem is that I have no interest marrying someone from my culture because I don’t like the way men here view women, and their mindset but the thing is my dad will NEVERRRR accept someone from another country😭
I was wondering if anyone relates to me and if you managed to convince your parents to marry outside of your culture ? Any advice?
