I am reading the core rule book and am currently looking at classes and domain cards and I am having trouble understanding the sorcerer.
This is 100 my more D&D/Pathfinder brain at work, but as I read the class, their features, subclasses, and domain cards I am struggling to see how they are not just another “worse wizard” option. It feels like none of their subclasses particularly interact with any of their features or domain cards.
All the other classes not only feel like they fulfill a type of character trope but also have a unique function within the game. Pleas help me understand what I am missing?
EDIT: I want to thank everyone for their information and feedback. It was very helpful and informative.
