thoughts on this trend going on on tiktok
I genuinely think this trend is stupid, partly because I’m not an empath and I could only associate this with chronic attention seeker behaviour (wanting attention is fine but it’s sad that people would resort to these fishing methods to get the attention) but a friend of mine told me that they could be participating in this trend because it’s like a safe place to talk about ideations which may lead to people actually reaching out to them for help because it seems like people who make these kinds of videos have little to no support system. So that kinda helped in making me understand why people do this. Personally, I still think this brings more harm than good especially to people who are actually struggling. I need more enlightenment from professionals here because being a non judgemental person is something I’m working on for myself rn🙏
edit: seems like everybody is just focusing on ayam gepuk and not the trend, so before you call me a loser for questioning this trend, it’s about suicide, people are posting their last meal before they kill themselves and I think it’s harmful to the society. It could be a joke and it could also be a genuine cry for connection from others, and both are just as bad..
