UK UGC Creators - What platforms/apps do you use?

Trying to narrow down what platforms/apps to use as I don’t want to waste my time by spreading myself too thin. I also don’t want to do high volume ugc which is what I see a lot of on Reddit and platforms like SideShift. I’d rather develop connections with brands that I could do retainer work for.

Is setting up a ugc creator profile on Instagram worth it or is Twitter better?

I’m already on tik tok but not for ugc and would prefer to keep it that way.

What’s working for you?

Just doing some research as I offer both UGC and User Testing, and I’m currently trying to decided which one to lean more into.

The thing is, I love identifying and solving problems. I also did some training a few years back in user research and user experience but life happened and I just came away from it.

Being a content creator, I’ve naturally crossed over to UGC but wondering if it worth investing time into it by focusing on apps or if I should just stick to user testing.

Help a girl out 🙏🏽

I'm a UK-based UGC creator working in the wellness / self-development / productivity tech space.

My style is very talking-head, relatable, story-led content rather than demos or aesthetic-heavy visuals.

I'm looking for tech brands (UK or global) that fit this space and are:

  1. Actively working with UGC creators or micro creators

  2. In the wellness / productivity / audio / sleep / focus niche

  3. Not just huge corporate brands (preferably midsize or growing brands)

Examples of the type of space I mean: headphones, sleep tech, focus apps, productivity tools, smart devices, etc.

If you know any brands that are good to work with as a small creator, I'd really appreciate your recommendations.

Cheers
