I switched notetakers 30 days ago, wanna know my thoughts?

This is not a hot take, not a vendor brief, just a honest account from someone who's been through it. The tool I was on technically did the job, it had accurate transcripts, fine UI, but I found the output was useless and had vague summaries, no Q&A structure, debrief notes that HMs ignored because they had to do all the thinking themselves.

The migration wasn't smooth. Bulk importing old transcripts took longer than expected. Getting the templates right for each role type needed a few iterations, and I nearly talked myself out of finishing it.

But 30 days in? The debrief quality is NOTICEABLY different.

HMs are actually engaging with the notes. Interview prep time has dropped, and the recruiters on my team( who complained about every notetaker we've ever used) have stopped complaining.

That last one alone was worth the migration pain.

If you're evaluating a switch, drop your questions in the comments. I'll tell you what worked and what I'd do differently.
