American Visiting Tunis
Salam!
I'm planning on visiting Tunis in September as I have previously been to Algeria and loved it and I heard Tunisia is really beautiful. I am someone who is very very Pro-Palestine however as an American I don't want to be associated with our governments horrific actions in supporting Israel. Many Americans like me are really fed up with what our government is doing and on behalf of many Americans I'm really really sorry for everything that Israel has done to the Palestinian People Inshallah there will be change one day. Is it okay in causal conversation if people ask where I'm from to say I'm American? I do speak a bit of Darja from an Algerian friend so I'm hoping that will help.
