Malware or FP?

A couple days ago Microsoft Defender flagged a file on my computer as trojan s32 !ml wacatac, while Malwarebytes flagged it as Malware .ai with a string of numbers after it. I'm not sure if I ever opened the file, but I deleted it right away, disconnected from the internet, and booted my laptop in safe mode. Nothing bad has happened yet. I reset my browser settings and changed some passwords just in case. If it was actually a trojan, how can I be certain that it's really gone?

I just finished running a deep scan in safe mode and Malwarebytes only flagged 1 file as a threat. It's from Game Maker Studio 2. I'm pretty sure this wasn't the file that was flagged earlier. Is this a false positive?

Trojan help

I'm not great at tech-related things. I downloaded some new files onto my laptop last night. This morning Microsoft Defender gave me a warning about a trojan on my laptop. I ran a Malwarebytes scan and it also alerted me of it. The bad file was in my recycling bin and I emptied it, and booted my laptop in safe mode. I ran a scan again, but nothing bad was found. Am I okay, or what else can I do?

I'm going to change my important passwords on my phone, BUT I was sharing internet from my phone to my laptop when the first alert came. Is it possible it spread to my phone? I'm not entirely sure if I ran the hostile file or not before I deleted it. I would appreciate some help
