Clunky rattle

2021 RAV4 prime SE, 26,000 miles:
I've developed a clunking rattle somewhere in the rear. Sounds exactly like the tire changing equipment is loose, but I have emptied the spare tire well and completely rubberized everything in there. Nothing moves, nothing clunks. Yet the noise remains. It's not the body panels, not the license plate, not the rear seat latches. Nothing is loose in the door bins or any of that.

I have not removed the battery cowls or jacked up the car. Before I get into that, thought I might check with all y'all to see if somebody else has had this issue.

HV on freeway?

I am curious if other people switch to HV mode on the highway, and save EV mode for regular driving? I do this for longer trips so I don't use all the battery power for high speeds.
My reasoning is that HV mode is efficient at highway speeds, and I really enjoy EV mode for non-highway driving. So I retain some EV range for my destination area once I am off the freeway. 🤷‍♂️

Flaky key fobs '21 RAV4 Prime SE

Both key fobs have been acting up over the last few months. The batteries are lasting only a week or two, and I'm getting irregular, unreliable response when I press the buttons to lock or unlock.

I'm wondering if the membrane inside the fob has deteriorated and no longer allows button presses to accurately pass through to the circuit board and my excessive button pressing is running the battery down and making the membrane worse. Or maybe dust is causing this? Anyone else dealing with this?
