(sic) was a band from Minneapolis, Minnesota! Their drummer, Nick Miller was also in Anal Blast (a band that Paul, Joey, & Donnie Steele were a part of). In a 1994 live clip of Anal Blast, Paul Gray is seen wearing a (sic) shirt.

There is very clearly musical influence on Slipknots music from (sic), most notably Track 2: When The Bough Breaks which features very similar instrumental to Slipknots 1999 debut.

It can only be assumed that Slipknot’s song (sic) was given the title as homage to this band!
