What do you think about this as a first boat?
It’s a 2011 20’ South Bay 420CR listed at $15k. It has a Yamaha 50TLR with unknown hours, but I’m assuming it’s the original motor. The furniture and carpet are both in really good shape, with just a few small spots on the bow. The decking underneath also looks solid. The pontoons could use a good cleaning, and the bimini and mooring covers will probably need replaced in the next season or two.
It also comes with a single axle Bear trailer in fair shape. One of the bunks looks like it’s starting to rot and will need new carpet before too long.
It’d be used 90% of the time with just 2 people, but we’d have friends and family out occasionally. Trying to stay around a $15k budget.
