I am 5 years out maintaining a 235lb weightloss. Your portion sizes do grow (or at least mine have) I can’t eat anywhere near what I could before surgery thankfully. But I can eat a normal size meal at this point. That’s when it gets tricky. So here is my lunch today and just wanted to be real. We’re not meant to eat tiny portions forever. This meal has 520 calories, 43g of protein, 42g carbs, 12g Fiber, and 23g fat(only 2g saturated fat). 12g of fiber is almost half of your daily recommendation!! It fuels my body to keep it active and keeps me full. If anybody needs help with macros or has any questions, I’m happy to help! I’ve learned a lot over the past 5 years.

Edit- I do not plan to try to keep the vegetation on top. I had planned to cut it down to the soil after replanting.

I just bought these Dahlia tubers tonight. I am going to plant them tomorrow. I’m completely new to planting flowers and would like your best advice to make these successful. I’m in North Carolina. I know they need full sun, and plan to plant them in my backyard. How far apart should I plant them? How deep? Any specific soil?
