Hi! I’m attending a cruise wedding this summer. Dress code is resort casual. It’s a standard big ship to the Caribbean.

Do we think this dress is ok? I am way shorter than the model, so the leg slit is not nearly as high on me. The sheer bottom is also slightly more opaque in real life than in the photo.

I went a little wilder on this choice than I normally would, but this dress just screamed tropical summer fun to me. But of course, now I’m second guessing myself.

ETA: since the slit is (understandably) a hot topic of conversation, IRL, it sits about 4-5 inches lower on me than in the advertisement photo. The entire solid part of the dress does. I’m only 5’2” and don’t have that much leg to work with, unfortunately 😅
