I need a code reference for the relevant section of CBC or NFPA guidance as it pertains to mounting a wall mounted fan in a gym space.

I'm looking into the possibility of hanging a wall mounted fan in a commercial building in CA but need some guidance on what relevant codes pertain to this project.
