I had a trailer hitch installed by U Haul at the beginning of the year. I went to check the pressure of the spare tire and found that it hits the hitch now when you try to take it off the carrier. Wondering if anyone else has come across this issue and if they had any fixes. The only thing I can think to do is cut the little feet off the bottom of the carrier with a grinder to give it a few more inches of clearance. I hesitate to do something so permanent though. Any advice is appreciated.
