Going to Motor City Comic Con next weekend. Been to plenty of cons over the years, but first time taking some comics to have signed by some creators and artists. I’ve seen so many pics of people’s comics being signed, only to have the signature smeared or smudged from bagging it too soon.

Any advice to avoid this? The obvious answer is to not bag the comics too soon, I get that. But what do you guys do to avoid damaging the signatures? Just take your stuff off to the side and stand there like a jabroni for ten minutes until the ink dries?

I’m bringing a few issues to have Todd Nauck sign. I can see myself fudging things up real quick while handling multiple issues at once.
