Flexispot Customer Service Nightmares (duplicate order runaround)
I should have listened...
I bought an E7 Pro from this company recently and they doubled my order. The way their orders are presented online was very confusing to me since some of their desks come in multiple packages and the website notes they might ship separately so I thought nothing of having multiple tabs presented. When my first delivery arrived something didn't look quite right on the order tracking page so I checked my bank account and noticed a second charge for a duplicate item. I called Flexispot customer service to rectify the situation. Initially they told me I'd have to bring the package back to a Fedex location and ship it myself. When I told them this was unacceptable they told me I could refuse the delivery and then call them for a refund.
I spent the 3 hr delivery window waiting at my house to make sure I didn't miss the truck. I signed for the refusal of delivery and then even confirmed it via a phone call the next morning when Fedex called me to make sure.
I waited over the weekend to make sure all of this information was processed and documented digitally. I called customer service again today to request my refund and have been given another run around:
First I was told the package was delivered to my home at 11:00 AM this morning. Not true. I am sitting in front of a window where I can see my driveway and front door. Nobody has been here today. When I explained that there is no way that's the case the story has changed and now I am being told that I have to wait until the package makes it back to them and then I can expect to see a refund within 5-10 days after that.
This is a ridiculous amount of effort and financial stress to go through because a company I bought a product from messed up. I have spent hours of my time and lost access to over $500 for who knows how long (honestly I'm skeptical I'll ever see it again without a bank charge back with how incompetent and crooked this company has come across as in my dealings with them). Avoid them at all costs IMO.
