iMessage backup or way to download a conversation to save (and hide) it?
Hi all. I’ve been here before asking (and getting) some help on how to his a conversation with a particular contact in iMessage. The custom filters worked great for that, but now I think I’m going to need to be able to clear the whole chat history on occasion, and I do not want to lose the last year plus of messages in the thread. Does anyone have a good app for that, which doesn’t require use of a Mac or PC, but can remain on the iPhone?
I am in the unknown here right now—something happened I’m not quite sure what, and he fully deleted his Signal account. That’s where we’d been having spicy chats but also, frankly, almost all of our conversations for a while now, and I’d gotten used to not worrying about his name cropping up at the top of my iMessage feed. Mostly I want to be able to save some of the chats from the past (and possibly the future) without needing or screenshot and hide it all.
