How do AMs/PAs go about offering VTO to who
if there’s any rhyme or reason to it, that is 😂
building ended up getting closed for like a day and a half 🎉 (from yesterday around 2pm - today at 6pm) because of an issue with a sprinkler + water damaged. HR on the voa board said the building “still wasn’t fully operational“ cause afe2 or whatever + 2nd floor were both closed and we had limited stations but they were gonna offer vto to all shifts.
i get the dreaded Amazon notification (auto?) assigning me a station before I even clock in, but get upstairs and there’s like 25 people standing around with no stations and waiting for vto. my station was on south side and on the way there I saw a whole line of people (20+) in stow i guess also waiting for vto lol
I ended up getting reassigned to a different station by a PA. idk a lot about how vto offering/station assigning works so I’m just curious why 80% of the people who came are getting told to sit in the breakroom (or wait around for more vto in front of the desk since the breakroom was full) while I’m one of the like 6 other people getting assigned a station. Faster workers? Flex? Random? Me making a conspiracy theory? I ended up leaving either way, I just wanted the chance at not having to use my time 😂
