Soap notes from Vet visit
Hello, i have a question for yall i took my dog to the vet as it got hurt due to a neighbor dog chasing us while on a walk. Took her to the vet and the vet didn’t advise to get X-rays as it just looks like it’s a weight bearing issue she has. But when i got the SOAP notes they dated they advise the X-rays/Radiograph and that i declined. When i called and told them to please remove that as i was going to have the neighbor pay they said its a red flag and cant alter the notes then i explained the issue and they said its fraudulent to alter the notes whatsoever.
I have the recording of the exam he did on my dog not sure if i can use that legally to get him to put the notes correctly ad i didnt deny any treatment and it wasn’t advice. Any tips or what can i do? As he didn’t advice and stated he did and i decline
