What started as a simple music trip turned into a huge creative movement inside the Brazilian underground scene. Brazilian artist 512 dahkidd, who’s currently based in Texas, traveled to Brazil earlier this year to record music and shoot videos, but ended up bringing together artists, producers, videomakers and creatives from all over the country inside multiple creative houses in São Paulo.

For weeks, the camp became a nonstop environment for sessions, collaborations, music videos and podcasts. The movement grew naturally online and started getting attention from pages like Rap Media and GR6, eventually reaching names connected to Recayd, Raffa Moreira, Derek, Fab Godamn and several other artists from both the underground and mainstream scenes.

The whole project stood out because of the mix between Brazilian trap culture and heavy American influence coming directly from Texas. A lot of music and visuals created during the camp are still being released.

Earlier this year, Brazilian/Texas artist 512 dahkidd traveled to Brazil planning to work on music and visuals, but the trip quickly turned into a much larger creative movement centered in São Paulo.

Over the course of several weeks, artists, producers, videomakers and creatives from different parts of Brazil’s underground trap scene gathered inside multiple creative houses where sessions, music videos, podcasts and collaborations happened almost nonstop. The atmosphere naturally started attracting attention online, eventually being covered by pages such as Happy Media and GR6.

As the movement expanded, names connected to Recayd, Raffa Moreira, Derek, Fab Godamn and several other artists from both the underground and mainstream scenes became involved or showed support.

Born in Brazil and based in Texas, 512 dahkidd has been building a sound heavily influenced by both American trap culture and Brazilian underground music. The camp became one of the clearest examples of those two worlds connecting in real time.

Photos, videos and music created during the camp are still being released online.
